Patent assignment in Iran / filing assignment for patent in Iran / Iran patent assignment
Any transfer of a patent in Iran must be registered with the Registry. A written application for transfer must be filed with the following reference submission documents:
* Original Certificate of Invention.
* document indicating the transfer;
* representative documents, if any;
* Payment receipt.
In the notice of official gazette of ownership of the invention in Iran it is necessary to mention the following:
* Title of the invention, with the relevant classification.
* Transfer registration date.
* Patent number in Iran.
* Name, residence and citizenship of old and new owners.
* Name and address of the legal representative of the new owner in Iran, if any.
Requirements:
* A power of attorney duly certified and legalized up to the Iranian Consulate,
* The Deed of Assignment, certified and Legalized by the Iranian Consulate,
* Iranian Certificate of Registration.
