Filing Opposition against Geographical Indication in Iran:
Anyone who objects to the acceptance of the Geographical Indication Application must file a complaint with the Registry within 60 days of the date of issue of the notice of objection while paying the costs associated with the reasons and supporting documents.
Note – If the protester is a person whose geographical indication has not been previously registered, he / she shall, while protesting, pay all his / her expenses and all related expenses in accordance with the provisions of the law and these bylaws.
