Trademark Recordal of Changes in Iran
The trademark owner in Iran is required to notify in writing any changes regarding the name, address, nationality and domicile or grant of lease of the trademark or transfer or the infringement of the registered trademark in writing and with the relevant documents for registration in the records. These changes will be implemented in accordance with the law and this Code.
Note – If changes are made to the International Classification of a registered mark, the mark owner may request the registration authority to make the above changes to the mark certificate.
Needed documents:
* Power of attorney reflecting the new name legalized by the Iranian Consulate with official Persian translation.
* A document attesting the change of name legalized by the Iranian Consulate with official Persian translation.
* Power of attorney reflecting the new address legalized by the Iranian Consulate with official Persian translation.
* A document attesting the change of address notarized, with official Persian translation.
* Original registration certificate or renewal certificate.
